Placement of Audit Associate at a Top10 in Birmingham City

Overview:
The candidate had around 18 months experiance working in Audit & Assurance for a Top10 firm in the UK working on a mixed portfolio of clients. They were looking to work for another Top10 that could offer them more direct support while completing their ACA Qualifications and progression upon completion of qualification.
Outcome:
First stage interview took place via MSTeams with one of the firms Associate Directors which was then followed up with a Second stage interview in their Birmingham office with the Partners. Following the final stage interview they received a competitive offer compared to their current package and study suport toward their ACA via Level 7 apprenticeship.

Job Brief:
Day to day duties:
Assist with the preparation of financial statements for limited companies, LLP’s, and charities from trial balance stage
Work and collaborate with other members in the audit and accounts team in order to build strong working relationships • Provide assistance on statutory audits as you continue to develop your knowledge
Develop your project management skills as you work to meet deadlines and budget constraints for clients
What are we looking for?
We will enrol you on a relevant accountancy qualification depending where you are in your academics, this will either be AAT, ACCA or ACA
You will be provided with full study support including paid study leave, mentorship and coaching
