The Role:

As an Accounts & Business Services Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring accurate financial records, and providing valuable insights and recommendations to clients.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with clients, understand their financial needs, and contribute to their growth by providing tailored accounting solutions. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Provide tax planning and compliance services, ensuring clients meet their tax obligations.
• Collaborate with clients to address their accounting needs and provide valuable financial insights.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and relevant laws.
• Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process for clients, if required.
• Stay updated on industry changes, accounting standards, and regulations to ensure accurate and timely advice to clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.

Experience:

• You’ll be ACCA or ACA qualified
• Experience working working at a reputable accountancy firm in the UK
• Knowledge of Xero (or similar) 
• You’re motivated by a fast paced and bustling environment
