About the Role
Our client is on an exciting growth journey, with ambitious plans to continue expanding their team. As part of this strategy, they are looking to grow their Audit team by adding talented professionals who want to develop their full potential, both personally and professionally.
They are seeking an Audit Manager who is eager to advance their career, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the firm’s ongoing success. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality work for their portfolio of NFP Audit clients.
Key Responsibilities:
•Overseeing the delivery of client engagements within set timelines for an assigned portfolio
•Assisting in managing client expectations in collaboration with senior leadership
•Managing and mentoring direct reports, providing real-time feedback to drive performance improvement
•Conducting regular 1:1 meetings, setting clear, achievable goals aligned with team priorities
•Developing strong client relationships and role modeling excellent service standards
•Ensuring assignments are completed in line with internal procedures
•Contributing to the team’s performance targets through effective planning and management of direct reports
•Identifying advisory opportunities within the current client portfolio
•Supporting business development efforts and converting new business opportunities
Requirements:
•A proven track record in audit and client relationship management
•Experience working with charity and educational institutions is preferred
•A self-motivated team player with strong communication skills
•Professional qualifications such as ACCA or ACA
•Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, including Charities SORP
•Excellent time management and organizational skills
•Experience with CaseWare is desirable
•Ability to identify growth opportunities within existing client relationships
