Audit Manager

As an Audit Manager, you will oversee a team of auditors, ensure the delivery of high-quality audit services, and build strong relationships with clients.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan, manage and deliver audit engagements in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring high-quality deliverables
• Oversee and manage a team of auditors, providing guidance and support as needed
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing valuable insights
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of accounting and auditing standards and ensure their application to client engagements
• Manage the financial aspects of engagements, including budgets and billing
• Identify opportunities to provide additional services to clients and work with the firm's partners to develop new business opportunities
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the audit team

Experience & Qualifications:

• ACA or ACCA-qualified (or equivalent)
• At least 5 years of experience in external audit within a reputable accounting firm
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards; GAAP
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members
• Proven track record of managing and delivering successful audit engagements
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with solid project management and organisational skills
