Corporate Tax Senior Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing Corporation Tax Returns and Computations on behalf of clients.
• Handling tax queries for clients.
• Engaging with HM Revenue & Customs and other relevant third parties as necessary.
• Communicating with clients to address queries related to annual Tax Returns and ongoing affairs.
• Assisting the Partners and Directors in offering tax planning advice.
• Managing a portfolio of clients to ensure timely preparation and submission of all Corporate Tax Returns and Computations to HM Revenue & Customs by due dates.
• Cultivating strong client relationships.
• Advising clients on tax liabilities and payment deadlines.
• Managing WIP (Work in Progress) on the client portfolio, ensuring timely fee issuance upon completion of work.
• Efficiently managing time and ensuring good recovery rates on each job while appropriately charging time to clients.
• Conducting meetings with potential clients regarding their tax matters.
• Supporting the Partners and Directors in devising the Corporate Tax marketing strategy.
• Contributing to the continuous development of less experienced team members.

Desired Attributes:

• Qualified to ACA/CTA or equivalent level.
• Responsible for overall WIP management on client portfolios.
• Maximising recoveries, pre-agreeing additional fees with clients for additional work conducted.
