About the Role
Job Opportunity: Outsourcing Accounts Assistant
Our client is seeking an Outsourcing Accounts Assistant to join their growing team. This role offers a minimum of 30 hours per week, based in Shrewsbury, with occasional work at client premises.
Key Responsibilities:
•Process payments, invoices, and receipts, and enter data into accounting software to prepare statutory accounts.
•Complete quarterly VAT returns and monthly management accounts.
•Assist clients with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month/year-end procedures.
•Advise clients on business improvements, cash flow forecasts, budgets, and management accounts.
•Provide support and training to clients on cloud accounting systems and MTD compliance.
Ideal Candidate:
•AAT Level 4 qualified with relevant experience.
•Knowledge of farming accounts is advantageous.
•Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
•Experience with Xero/QuickBooks and a full driving license.
