Private Client Director

The Role:

• Manage your own portfolio and contribute to the efficient running of your section, including workflow planning.
• Bring in new opportunities and work for the team.
• Achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Foster enduring client relationships.
• Develop and inspire their talented professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a range of Tax services, overseeing a private client portfolio with a focus on personal tax, including compliance and advisory work.
• Identify tax-sensitive expenditure and broader tax-related issues.
• Collaborate with clients to address inquiries and resolve queries.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure deadlines are met, and oversee client portfolios to meet regulatory deadlines.
• Assist in managing the team, conducting appraisals, providing coaching, and fostering skill and knowledge development. Continually improve the quality and delivery of work.
• Monitor your own utilisation, productivity, and work in progress.
• Confidently provide guidance and feedback to team members.

Requirements:

• CTA / ACA / ACCA / ATT qualified.
• Exposure to multiple sectors would be advantageous since their clients come from diverse industries.
• Previous experience in personal/private client Tax or Mixed Tax within a similar role in a practice environment is essential.
• Strong technical knowledge and the ability to conduct research in complex areas of tax legislation.
