Private Client Senior

A top West Midlands firm is hiring a Private Client Tax Senior for their Midlands or regional offices. This role is for someone ready to own client relationships, influence revenue, and guide junior team members with technical expertise.
 
What you'll be doing:

• Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns with minimal manager intervention
• Delegating and reviewing junior work—helping others grow, while sharpening your own leadership skills
• Providing clear, tailored advice around complex matters like CGT and relief claims
• Guiding clients through HMRC calls and queries (you're the steady hand they need)
• Slowly taking control of your own portfolio with full support from senior leadership

What you bring:

• You're either ATT/CTA/ACA qualified, studying, or qualified by experience
• You know personal tax inside out and enjoy mentoring junior team members
• You want to grow, and you're ready for more responsibility - even if your current firm keeps dragging its feet
• You're detail-focused, commercially sharp, and calm under pressure (especially when HMRC are on the line)

Salary + Setup:

• £35,000 - £40,000 per year
• 37.5-hour working week
• Full-time, permanent role
• Flexibility to work throughout the region
