Requirements:
- CTA qualification with extensive practice-based tax experience, primarily in corporate tax.
- Proven ability to lead a tax function with a commercial mindset and a track record of business growth.
- Natural talent for motivating and mentoring staff to deliver service excellence.
- Lead tax computations for a significant client portfolio and oversee the tax compliance process.
- Deliver trusted advisory and technical knowledge to clients.
- Build trusted and long-lasting client relationships, acting as their go-to senior advisor.
- Oversee the tax team's work, ensuring expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met.
- Demonstrate strong people management skills, managing workflow, and mentoring junior staff.
- Communicate technical matters in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Work closely with Partners on complex tax planning and advisory.
- Review efficiencies and recommend new processes to enhance workflow.
- Drive the tax function’s strategic direction by identifying new business opportunities and service lines.
- Set an example as a hands-on and proactive Partner Designate, inspiring the team.
